cheers, Martin
I have talked to rega, and they said:

Dear Jonas,
The phono plugs can be changed.
The ones we use are moulded to the arm lead so it would have to have a complete new lead assembly fitted.
If you want to put new ones on : phono plugs are personal choice, see your hi fi dealer for recommendations on which ones will be best.

Hi,
The problem is that it is very difficult to fit the standard arm lead yourself as we use special tools and jigs.
The internal wires are very delicate and if you should try to remove the existing lead you will disconnect the internal earth lead which is impossible to reconnect by hand. This will cause the arm to hum during playback.
I advise you to purchase some good quality phono plugs and have them fitted to the existing lead.
Kindest regards,
Simon

The problem is that I don't have any Hi-Fi store here , I live in the north sweden.

Dear Jonas,
A Happy New Year to you. I think that I would like to recommend you try
contacting Rob at Eichmann Technologies (woodland@powerup.com.au). He makes
a really fascinating phono plug with a plastic casing and body which are
among some of the best I have heard. I think these would be a particularly
good upgrade for your arm cable. Please let me know how you get on.
With best regards.

I use the Eichmann plugs on my P9 and on the length of Naim Aro lead that connects my Tom Evans phono stage to my amp. They are noticably better than the Neutriks I used before. I wonder if there will be a matching RCA socket anytime soon.

Now does the new Eichmann plugs sound in compare with the rega originals?
My deck is a Rega P9, not a P3, it has a havier arm lead and Neutrik spring loaded RCAs as standard. The Eichmann plugs sound better.
My only issue with the Eichmann plugs is that the little screw that acts as a strain relief is utterly useless unless a particular gauge cable is used, so in my system the plug is effectively held on just by the soldered joint. Personally I am not that bothered as I can solder well so if I ever damage and need to remake the joint I can easily enough. I understand his logic in not using a conventional metal cable grip (this plug is as non-ferrous as is possible), but there has to be a better alternate than the little grub screw.
Tony.
I maybe know the construction of the plug you have. Can u give me a pic or something? Does Eichmann only got one type of phono rca?
Eichmann got a webbsite?

I have talked to Eichmann Technologies International. Not that help either. To expensive plug. And it was gold plated. The ones the originals look like plastic shit ones. And would not be expensive. So I'm looking for a good plugg that's allmost the same as the original.

Alltså kan du köpa ett par för 225:- om du vill.
225 SEK, not so bad after all. But it's gold plated. Should it work anyway if this is a good one? The ones i tested before didn't work.

Thanks everybody for help and support

It was gold plated and didn't work. I realy have to find some great ordinary plug. Does anyone know if silver is better than nickel?
