A three - two - ONE series would be fun. WC in first season? Probably not with Alfonso in the same team.

The boy done good. Second on the grid, he really is looking like some prospect and made Alonso look like an also ran in qualifying. This could be the season F1 gets interesting again.

Probably differing fuel loads.

So they said in commentary, but I don't quite understand the rationale there. Why would they not give both drivers an equal load or, if they were to differentiate, why not give the no.1 driver the advantage?

I would think that he has a three in four chance of becoming the first driver in history to podium in his first three races. Would be nice seeing him finish ahead of Alonso this time
Fingers crossed....

Well, he did it! Three podium finishes and joint championship leader after his first 3 Grand Prix starts, can't be bad.
If only he'd been on those hard compound tyres for the second stint, he'd have probably hauled in Massa and won it.
My only concern is for the next race in Spain, where he has to use the same engine. There was definately a slight blue haze coming off his car throughout the race, lets just hope it sees him to the end in Spain.

Aye, he's gone and done it alright!
Alonso was well beaten this time and there was nothing in it re fuel loads. This was also the 1st track he's driven before, so he was on an equal footing with his team mate.
No idea what the blue smoke was about but it had gone by the end of the race, so maybe his engine will be ok for the next race.
Whether it was due to sand on the track or not, Lewis really seems happy having the car slide around a fair bit. He should be fun to watch in a wet race!
I hope he's ready for the media circus that's waiting for him when he gets back to the UK.
Congrats to the lad anyway.

A friend of mine saw Lewis race in the wet when he was in GP2. Reckoned he was more dominant than in the dry!
Alonso? Well, he might just be glad of those few points at the end of the season.
Does anyone know the last time 3 drivers were tied for the lead?

Or it's run out of oil?
Maybe it's doing a 16v VW trick and stops using oil after the equivalent of 25-30k miles?
Well done Lewis a shame about the second stint though. Massa wasn't too convincing with his "I was saving the car" we were watching live timing and scoring he was going faster and faster unfortunately for him Lewis was doing even quicker.
Quite a good race though.

More convincing than Alonso, Kimi or Hamilton!
Of course he was going quicker towards the end of the race, it has more to do with the track as more rubber is laid down the cars can corner faster and brake later whilst reducing maximum revs on the straights.
