Record cleaning bargain

I have been absolutely delighted with my Nitty Gritty since it arrived last month but I'm beginning to wonder if it wasn't a little overpriced! I wonder if this little baby is as good as other offerings from that company.

I bought a similar looking machine at around that time, I think it was called a Rec-o-Vac.

I wasn't impressed.

It was supposed to clean the dust off and remove static. Problem was the records used to lean over at a slight angle so the brushes didn't touch one side. It also put more static on the records than it took off.

I think I must have binned it.
