What was that?

At the Heathrow show, a number of the AV demos were showing a clip of what I presume was a Japanese film with thousands of extras firing a variety of arrows and bolts at eachother. It certainly looked and sounded impressive. Anyone any idea what this was?

Not sure from the trailer Deane.
This had a huge battle scene, thousands of soldiers attacking a palace letting fly with arrows and bolts. Particularly vivid was the arrows flying on mass and into the residence through the paper walls into a red room. Help?

Sounds like "Hero".
I think the scene you are talking about is where the army is attacking a school. It's archers are firing loads of arrows at a building and a few (2 or 3 I think) people are on the building hitting the arrows out of the air. Inside the building a load of people are continuing to practice writing symbols in the sand as they are shot by arrows.
The scene is very red as I remember it. Throughout the film each scene has a different colour and if I remmeber rightly this scene is red.
The film is OK, very well shot with some beautiful scenes, but I felt it lacked a bit in story.

Yes I think Two-Sheds is right - the scene where the arrows are fired at the calligraphy school is from Hero.
Personally, I've been loving that genre of film with the amazing cinematography and fight scenes. I have been sold on it since "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon."
