The new Battlestar Galactica series

Has anyone else been watch this over the past 2 years. It is, IMHO, one of the best TV series ever. And this is from someone who hated the originial 70's series and is a true blue (or should that be claret and blue) Trekker, Sci Fi, Physics, etc junkie.

Rubbish, stereotypical and so bloody obvious as to be untrue.

I've just caught up with it and have now watched the first two seasons. I think it's excellent. The third series, I believe, starts in October.
