I´ve got a few albuns of Bill Frisell, like east west and one with Paul Motion and Ron Carter.I wonder which are the other albuns that I´ve got to buy:Unspeakable;Good Dog, Happy Man; Gone, Just Like A Train?Anyone may guide me?I know all are different and is not a easy task to give that kind of advice but thank you anyway.

It's not strictly speaking a Bill Frisell album, but the Ginger Baker Trio album Going Back Home (also feat. Charlie Haden) is pretty great, and a Bill album in all but name.

Again, not strictly speaking a Frisell album, but "Time and Time Again" is excellent. The other members of the trio are Paul Motian (drums) and Joe Lovano (sax).
Other than that, I've enjoyed his album of Buster Keaton film music, and a CD called "The Willies" (I think).

I strongly suggest "nashville" and "gone, like a train".

Nuno,
'Songs We Know', a sublime duo of piano and guitar is by far my favorite Frisell.
I saw Frisell in a trio concert six weeks ago in Chicago. It was a great performance.

Haim

Nuno, those two would be the ones I'd most strongly recommend.
All best,

I'd also recommend "East West" with its fantastic rendition of "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" and, taking his collaborations with Viktor Krauss into account, "Far From Enough" by the same artist.
