Just noticed the following snippet in the local paper - " Hampshire Constabulary has been ranked as the top UK police force for gay and lesbian officers and constables...."

Better than the Los Angeles Police department, I've heard they still have the ugly prejudice yet they recruit gays and have them patrol the bars and cruising areas.

That goes along with the policeman they hired that did such a good job in the illegal drug trade. Turns out he was holding back evidence and reselling it on the streets and had a small band of officers planting evidence on suspects to bolster their arrest rates. He's now in jail for the last 5 years. Tho others had low sentences for cooperating with investigators.
