Peter Gabriel remasters - Wow!!!

Hi All,
for any PG fans out there, I noticed an interview with Peter Gabriel in a magazine over the summer in which he referred to a re-master program for the CD's produced from his early recorded-for-LP material - in which IIRC he claimed had suceeded in getting a lot more detail onto the CD medium than the first round of transfers had achieved.
Anyway, I was browsing in Glasgow airport a few weeks ago, and spotted a lone copy of the DVD of the UP! tour from earlier this year - I just couldn't resist this, having being mesmerised by the show at the NEC.
Having played it on my somwhat patchy AV setup I have to say the DVD is superb and is easily the best music DVD I have found to date, definitely bringing the atmosphere of the performance into my lounge - in fact I would say the Milan show looks even better than the NEC was...
My good experience here fired a few stray neurons and I was reminded me of the interview/article, so while surfing for bargains (christmas presents!) I had a look for the re-mastered CD's. No evidence of them on my fave shopping sites baffled me somwhat. Finally, I ended up on the WOMAD site, where I found them - full price of course as there doesnt appear to be any other way of buying them!
I plunged in and ordered 2 to try - PG4 'Security' and 'So', being my favourites, and where even my old and well worn LP's are much better than the compressed and lifeless sounding CD versions (even through my recently re-furbed CD2).
So PG4 turned up a couple of days ago, I opened the novel LP-alike 'case' slipped the CD from its inner sleeve (!) and loaded it into my gleaming CD2 (just nicely burned-in after a new transport was fitted at the factory).
WOW - I was transfixed! it vividly brought back the spine-tingling experience of first hearing the LP, The Rhythm Of The Heat, San Jacinto, I Have The Touch all had me absolutely spellbound with the life and drama pulsing from the sistem...
I can't wait for 'So' to turn up (any day now I think) and I can feel another 'credit card spree' coming on fast! (can't stop thinking of Solsbury Hill, Games without Frontiers etc...!)
Anyone else discovered these gems?
Cheers!!!
Chris
