nDAC to peramp interconnect length ?

Posted by: rich2513 on 06 July 2010

Just wondering how much of an issue it would be to have a long ~7ft interconnect made up for nDAC to preamp. I am having problems keeping everything all in one place in my room.

thanks in advance for any help

Just make sure the cable you choose has good shielding.

I suggest you ask Naim on this. It may require some padding to the cable to ensure the DAC can drive that length of cable.

While usually not recommended, Naim can supply custom lengths of the standard i/c to special order.

Rockingdoc, the cable itself is Naim's own and the tooling costs for the airplug parts might be better spent on new house extension. Best of luck though... Winker

the spec for dac out is typically line out ,select a good quality high speced cable. that distance is not excessive. it will be ok

I've been inside. Rather unique in a few ways.
