Just seen Joe Lee Wilson live in Brighton - totally blown away!
Strange that I have never heard of him before, despite having played with the likes of Sonny Rollins, Freddie Hubbard, Lee Morgan, Miles Davis and others.
Bought a signed copy of "Ballads for Trane" - great performances, amazing quality recording and great tunes.
Recommendations for his other works gratefully accepted.
