Bloody Good Value

Chaps
I popped down to the Naim factory this afternoon to collect some black boxes from the dining room system which I had taken in for service before I went on holiday.
My dining room system comprises
CD3.5+Hicap/Nato3/32.5+Hicap/250/SBL's
Every item was purchased second hand and anything over ten years has been reconditioned by Naim.
I assembled the system an hour ago and it sounds absolutly superb and it will still improve over the next couple of weeks.
This system is proof that anyone can buy Naim on a budget. Also it sounds ok without the Hicaps but they do improve the sound considerably.
This system will beat 99% of all systems on this planet into submission and once again I have to say that older Naim gear is tremendous value for money.
I hope this helps kill the myth that you need mega bucks to own a good Naim system.
Regards
Mick
