Lads'n'Lasses
We still have a few tickets left for the barbie next Friday so, if you really want to have a fun day out in rural Wiltshire call us ASAP to reserve your place. A tenner gets you finger lickin good grub, guitar pickin good music and slurpin good beer. All this plus a factory tour, a bit of a dem and a chance to talk to the "tefal" men in our R&D dept.

Who mentioned freebies.....

I would be interested in attending if I can find cover for this friday night off work, and if I can get accommodation in the area which would enable me not to have to drive after the beers and return safely to my native land - Staffordshire on Saturday afternoon! The whole thing sounds like a lot of fun!

It's always a nice day for it, have a good one wink

We will be attending the events on Friday and are looking forward to them very much.

A pair of cherry NBLs are on order at the mo..promised for mid August...wonder if we will see them in the making!!!

This is the first time we have been able to take part in a Factory Tour and would appreciate details of the precise location of the Naim site and travel/parking details.

Many thanks

If you are travelling along the A36 from Southampton, you can no longer turn right into the industrial estate, you have to go along to the college roundabout and double back.

There is parking space at the factory.

Hi all

We have arranged parking spaces opposite our factory in the MFI Homeworks car park. There will be around 50 spaces available which is more than enough to accommodate those of you travelling by car. Please do not attempt to park in our car park as there is only enough for our employees, you know, the people who make the "music" possible.

Anyway, the guy's at the met reckon Friday will be fine!

Later cool

Just booked a room at the White Hart in Salisbury - anyone else staying there? - might be fun to share a nightcap on Friday night!

Let's hope for good weather!

Looking forward to it!

I'm taking a guess here, seeing as the factory tours start at 10:30am are we due to arrive at 10am?

Yes, the tours start at 10.30 which means as soon as there are 15 people we do the first tour followed by the dem. Tour will take 1hour and the dem around 30 min. After that you will have the opportunity to purchase bits'n'bobs from Anna's shop (not hifi, however, if it's cash and your dealer wont find out then we could be persuaded !).

I'll be the one with the shades and aluminium briefcase handcuffed to the wrist... not! smile

Thanks for the clarification,

Andrew

P.S. does the shop do a nice line in amp-cosies to keep my system "warmed up"?

So far so good, we are looking forward to seeing you guys, its the last day at Naim before our summer shutdown so the atmosphere should be party time. The guys testing hankies for head cover before heading to the beach and the Naim girls, well they were organised months ago!!

Maybe we might manage a mid-morning report.

You got there first Paul.

Gorgeous weather for a barbie...yippeee.

See you in a couple of hours.

Regards,
Frank.

Thanks to Paul, Mike, Paul, Doug, Mark and all the others whose names I do not know. We both enjoyed the day. Foo Foo was good, the sausages were great, the factory tour was most informative and the demo of the 3xNAP500 active DBL's was STUNNING. Even Melanie had to admit it presented a big sound. (I'm still trying to persuade her that you wouldn't notice the DBL's in our living room.)

I had just got the Fraims set up before leaving on the Friday morning to come to Salisbury and just had to compare "Babylon Sisters" as soon as I got in. Clearly, the kit needs longer to warm up again!

Great day out. Thanks to all involved. What a great reward to your most loyal customers. Enjoy the shut down all those who are taking it.

Best regards,
CB
