Naim CDPs - Digital Out

Couldn't manage without a digital output on my cdp, so how do you dyed in the wool Naim fans cope?

Does anyone mod Naim cdps to take a digi/out?

.errr, not sure what would do with one.

The options that come to mind are:
1. Use with an external DAC.
Now as Naim don't make DACS (the AV2 is the closest equivalent), I have no need for one.
This is of course assuming that I "prefer" the Naim sound.
2. Use for digital recording to a CDR.
I have a PC, which means that my CDR drive cost 1/4 of the amount of a standalone unit, can operate 8 times faster (though I don't use it that fast for audio CDs) and is useable for data storage on my PC.
3. For digital recording to other mediums, e.g. Minidisk.
Well personally I use CDs everywhere, as they sound better than any competing digital recording medium and just about everyone has a CD player (unlike DAT, DCC, minidisk et al).

I'm also at a bit of a loss to know what you couldn't manage without!. Why do you want a digital out??

I use mine to make compilations to CD from vinyl and CD sources on the same CDR disc.
I bet the CDS3 has a digital out socket.
