Weekends are great

This Sunday my little boy (4) decided he had a tummy ache so didn't want to go out of the house. We got out his Thomas The Tank Engine train set and set it up in the living room, which took up the whole floor, and had two trains running with a truck going around the road (with level crossing). He just played for hours and hours and was so excited at one point that he wet himself. 
I've got sore knees today, but it was worth it. I'm quite sad today that I had to come to work and he had to go to school.
Weekends are great, aren't they.

Nice one Rasher, spending quality time with those close to you can be really special....

Hammerhead and I spent a happy evening crawling around the carpet playing at slot racing recently, and making 'brrmming' noises. Very cathartic, esp. with a beer in hand
