Windows update for XP Internet Explorer8 will not install?

(Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 8 for Windows XP (KB980182) Has not been installed )
That's the message I get even if I try to install from the Windows Update site! Anyone Else?

Try (temporarily!!) switching off your antivirus and firewall. Then have a go.
