The (definitive) AV Solution
Just seen it at my mates house, and no, its not an n-Vi or a dvd5.
Optoma 10 DvD
£540 from PC World.
One-box-wonder includes:-
dvd player (probably not HD, but then neither in the n-Vi or the dvd5) built into the
dlp projector complete with
audio and
twin speakers supplied with an
8-foot screen complete with
remote all in a spiffing
bag
Talk about plug-n-play. Whip it out of the bag, place on table. Point at screen (hung from curtain rail). Plug into mains. Play
Dam good picture and sound. Enjoy. Tried it with 007 Tommorow never dies and Cliff Richard From a Distance. Got everybody glued and rocking.........
Rather than wait until Blue Ray v HDDVD gets sorted or 1080p is widespread, cough up a measly £500 and enjoy life-size projections that are really quite good.
