Yeah, I posted a pic here amongst the AV3 thread....
I haven't yet heard one, but I'm reading very good things about them....Expensive though, even more than the Arcam 888...

yes its at least 2k to expensive. Any idea if the offerings from Anthem are any cheaper ? id guess not !!

The Anthem gear is more expensive ! The D2v processor is approx £8k in the UK and along with the accompanying (huge) 5 channel D2 power amp makes a £16k package...!
(annoyingly, the rip off UK habit continues, as the D2v is about US$7,500-8000 if bought in the US)
I've only ever heard the Statement once, at the Northampton show last year, and it was very impressive, really was....I think there's a leaning towards movie performance with the Anthem gear (although reviews like Tech Radar's do indicate good music performance)...They've also been hit with the ugly stick and I understand they are a pain to set up properly....
I think the ADA is the one to keep an eye on (along with Arcam's 888) though as you say, it's a couple of grand too expensive.....I watched the(a) video on YouTube on the ADA as demoed at TLC (I don't know if this was the same one that you originally posted?) but there was one very interesting section/interview that would have those of us into Naim interested, where the guy was talking about the ADA showing very high emphasis on leading edge transients.....It had me wondering if Naim amps hooked up to the ADA 7.1 would make a fine package....??
Where to demo with Naim kit becomes the issue....
One other thing I've since read about the ADA, is that it has a very reliable HDMI switching performance....

hi steve
i think its the same with the ADA as its 5500 usd in the US. PJ hifi in Guildford have it in their cinema room and apparently its amazing with Naim along with anything else its connected too (they are a Naim dealer).
As soon as i get a spare day i will down and report back.

Do they..? Hmmm....
Yes, please DO report back if you manage to go there......I really must get down there myself, have intended to for some time, as I'd like to demo a 5.1 Audiovector speaker set-up......They are one of the few good Naim dealers I know of who also have good AV facilities and knowledge, and speakers...!
(If I were to go for the ADA, I would happily hop on a plane to pick it up locally if it is indeed same price in $, although it depends on whether I was indebted to a UK dealer after demo....I'm sure I could buy some Naim kit to make up for it though..! )
