I have the oportunity to buy a Nait 2 or a Nac42/Nap110 kit for aprox the same price, which would you choose?

I would say the 42/110. I have a 62/110. The 110 replaced a 90 in my system, the 110 is a lot better. The power section of the Nait2 is probably based on the 90. The 42/110 will need recapping if they havnt had one yet. I recapped the 110 myself for under £20.00, but I would expext Naim to charge £120 for the 110 and £80.00 for the 42.

Future-wise, the 42/110 gets you on the upgrade path whereas Nait is an integrated dead-end.
It would be advisable to have a listen before buying though (and remember warm-up times!).
