What percentage are of higher quality than CD?

The Hifi industry can't wait for HD music downloads become more popular, IMO the industry should promote it until the big companies pay attention to this market.

Nowadays digital music is dominated by portable players for the so-called ipod gen but if the difference in quality matters Hifi manufacturers might be the most interested in promoting HD music.

I can imagine with 2 decimal place rounding, 0.00%

Which is quite depressing. I am sure only a tiny amount is actually CD quality.

Which is a shame because if the CD quality downloads were widely available from the main stores I'm sure I would buy a lot more music .
As it is I buy CD's and rip them to my hard drive and they hardly get played if at all after that .
