Through BBC Music Magazine website there is a 20% discount available on the "Cantatis Overture 192" soundcard.

Overture 192 High Performance 24-bit 192kHz Audio Interface

I wondered if there is anybody who has any experience with this card or read any reviews about it?

I can report back now, have had the card in my system for a few days. It sounds much better than any other PCI card I have heard (and I've heard quite a few). Moreover, it sounds snappy and PRaTs very well, making it very at home in a Naim system. The price is ridiculous for what one gets really. The only Naim sources I have had in my system is a 5i-2 and a 5x, and the Cantatis is miles better than the 5i-2, and somewhat better than the 5x imo.

The driver installation for Win 7 is a bit fiddly at the moment, but it works. And it does not do auto sample rate switching for the moment it seems, but that can be addressed in software updates, since it is an Envy based card. I will try with the standard VIA app and see if it works there.

Anyway, a no-brainer really for the price, it is worth lending an ear to if one has a PC that will accept PCI cards within i/c length of one's amp. Hope this was of help, although a little late perhaps Smile

HI Kashmir

It is never late to exchange experiences, so thank you very much for this positive review.

I haven't decided yet on a soundcard so any input is welcome, especially on these newly developed cards
