Thomas Ades

I happened to be listening to Radio 3 yesterday mid-morning returning to my office, and had to pull over to listen some music that was utterly compelling - I think it was Thomas Ades' Arcadiana, played by the Endellion Quartet. This appeared to be a live recording from a festival - does anyone know if a good recording of this piece exists?

He's a very interesting composer, pianist and artistic director of the Aldeburgh festival. I think EMI have released 4 CDs of his stuff - all well worth investigating:

Debut (1997)- chamber
Living Toys (1998) - chamber (includes Arcadiana)
Powder her face (1998) - opera
Asyla (1999) - orchestral works
