Wishbone Ash

Any 'Ash' fans out there?

You may not be aware that there are two web sites, run by different factions of the band, past and present.

One of them is offering the 4 CD box set 'Distillation' for £30 inc p&p, which is a flippin' bargain.

Classic Albums-Argus is the third album not second, all of the first three are great-Wishbone Ash,Pilgrimage and Argus. I did pick up a cheap Cd compilation called Blowin Free which is a good intro to the band- one of the classic two lead guitar sounding bands. Happy listening

1. Wishbone Ash
2. Pilgrimmage
3. Argus; is generally reckoned to be the best album.

I have learned from one of the web sites, that it is finally to be released re-mastered by Martin Turner (in 1988 I think?) in March 2,002.

But get this: Only in the USA. Doesn't bother me, as discs generally sound better from the States, but isn't it a bit daft that it will only be available here as an 'import'?
