Any one else using The Top Up TV Anytime box?

I have got it as I don't have Sky and thought it would be a cheap way to get a HD recorder. They were doing a deal for £75.

However the software is extemely unstable and Usually I have to power cycle the box about once a day. It is crashing very regularly, frequently misses recordings, the high speed FF/REW crashes the box, etc, etc.

The box is based on Thomson Hardware.

I haven't taken this to TopUp TV yet, but would be interested if anyone else is having the same problems.

Sounds just like a SkyHD box to be honest.

There was an item on Watchdog the other night about these boxes and they were saying that a future software upgrade is hoped to cure the problems alot of people have been suffering from.
Seems like as similar situation I had when I got Sky+ as if the companies put the products on the market without fully testing them and then use their customers to do the development and bug finding for them.

Trevor,
Thanks for the feedback, I didn't see the watchdog prog.
