Couriers

Hi All,
I need some kit picked up and delivered to myself within the UK. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I have looked at Citilink, Interlink, UPS etc but you seem to need to be an account holder rather than accepting one off private jobs.
Thanks,
Waz

Try ParcelForce.

And double box everything, if you haven't packed it so well you'd be happy throwing it off a balcony I wouldn't trust a courier with it!

I've had some bad experiences with P.F.
My dealer uses Citilink.
I think if you 'phone two or three local couriers & ask you'll find they are agents for the big ones.
Make sure it's fully insured!
If it's HiFi equipment your local dealer might help you ...

Hi Waz
I can recommend Interparcel. They use all the major couriers and offer discounted shipping rates. You don't have to open a business account, you just need to register with a password/username.
Actually, FWIW, you can book a collection with UPS without an account. I've done so many times via their website.
I've had two negative experiences with PF and one with DHL. I've never had any neg. experiences with UPS. I've shipped hundreds of hifi worldwide.
I always pack well, with extra bubble wrap/foam etc and I always insure for the full value. If things go wrong, then the typical time for reimbursement IME is 3 months.
I hope this helps.
