An old RAF piccie. This poor bloke went with us on detatchment to Cyprus in '89 and at the first chance went on the wazz in Paphos. He had no accomodation booked, so first night he slept on the beach on his front, second night on his back. Trouble is, he didn't wake up until mid-day both times! OUCH!
He was quite lucky though, as the medic we took on the detatchment had brought along a treatment developed for Simon Weston (The Welsh guard badly burned by Thatch..... sorry, a bombing in the Falklands) called, I think, Flamazine. Instant relief, and back to work on the Monday. Otherwise it would have been a charge for 'self-inflicted injury'.....
And nobody slapped him on the back. Amazing.
