Very sorry to hear of James Alan Ball's death - thought he was a superb player. I remember seeing him play for Blackpool against Ipswich and he was the outstanding player on the field. Sir Alf must have agreed because he picked him for England a few years later and the rest is history.
Sad news indeed.

Very shocking news. One of the true greats as he was part of the only England team to win a major trophy.
