Stereophile review of Stageline/Hicap

Has anyone seen Michael Fremer's review of Stageline in this month's Stereophole?

My girlfriend just called from Arizona in a very excited state because she just got her copy (I live in California and seem to get mine after everyone else). Anyway, he says lots of nice things and uses it with the new mono Helikon. Now I know what to do with the single 135 I bought on ebay...

Excellent job by the folks at NANA from what I can gather. CD5 review in March and now this. Doesn't this all sound too surreal to be true?

Why is it that Mikey is the S'phile reviewer that looks at naim? He's done the reviews for the 3.5, CDX and the CD5. I believe that he also did the NBL.

I'd love to see a review done by Jon Scull; given the massive gear that he uses now and the extensive tweakery that he relies on, he would probably write the most flowery yet indifferent review possible. It would be a fun read.

Cheers

Keith.

'Cos he asks nicely...

Actually, I believe that it was Paul Messenger who reviewed the NBL for Stereophile (Martin Colloms did the HFN&R review, right?)

Our stuff doesn't respond (positively) to the tweaky treatments that many American hi-fi reviewers immolate themselves in, hench the emphasis on reviewers who are more into music first (rather than gear for its own sake).

Hope this makes sense,
