Posted by: J.N. on 25 April 2005

Adam;

My 'Graham's hydra' thread has disappeared.

Why so?

John.

As a matter of interest do them hydras come with all them fancy marks that show its been tested and registered as electrical items sold to the public have to be these days... I think its called the

ce mark/reg ?

No idea as i dont have one, but as it is sold commercially then i expect it has the necessary... There is no reason why it shouldnt comply. No doubt Mosfet will post his reasons to think otherwise on HFC.

Just pointing out that it's a mutualistic arrangement, and as in all cases of mutualism, both sides are strictly reward driven - altruism doesn't enter the picture.

Naim "pay for" (i.e., choose to direct a small portion of their customer-derived profit toward) the forum because it benefits them to do so.

Point taken.

I applaude Adam for the action he took and I reacted the way I did on the thread(s) as the entire thread(s) were only posted to create mischief and potential damage to this forum.

This was easily demonstrated by my cross-posting but sometimes the factual data is easier to interpret than hearsay.

I am fully aware of the Naim Policy regarding discussion of any electrical change.

Adam does a magnificent job here - let us not forget it.

Adam, I am sorry if I caused you extra work.

You're mixing your Orwell.

did not get to read what mos-fet posted, as thread had gone, but if it was to do with the hydra, would have loved to have got to read it.
even if he had a troll hat on, he does know what he is talking about

Psychic - always easiest to judge what you haven't read.

DW - the NAIM forum is many things but it isn't a motorway bridge for dropping bricks on passing motorists.

++ "Its Naims' forum"
OH NO - It's NAIM's forum. When WILL you learn?

I knew someone would go for that one.
You also pay for my miniature pork pies, scotch eggs and the R&D Department (6,000 Ï‹bergeeks at last count).

I'm paying for pork pies and scotch eggs! Red Face

That's the last straw Winker

It's OK - I don't eat them, just store them up for the end of civilisation when I will use them to pelt the hordes of hunger-crazed Salisbury citizens who will attack my palace.

Then, of course, the Tories may not win the election.
Posted on: 25 April 2005 by Tam
That's okay then.

You really think the Tories might not win Winker

Trouble is, I don't want to see the expression on Blair's face when he wins either. The devil's alternative indeed. Frown

Perhaps you should have mentioned the eggs on the "investments" thread Adam?

I once voted for Sir M. Thatcher's lot in the vain hope of a nice bit of "popular unrest" if only on alternate Saturday afternoons (weather permitting). <blush>

Fat chance. I'm afraid my vote was as useless as your stockpile of deadly munitions.

I hope you have them under secure lock and key? No doubt Mick will advise if you're in doubt. Roll Eyes
