SBL base poll

Graphoman - You want to start another poll for the bases being used? I expect 90% to be Mana Soundbases, which would mean more on those than naked!! Interesting.

you’re right but it would make the poll very difficult. At the end (supposing I’ll get the information needed) I could make “weighting” of the statistics.

What are 'Fraimchips'?
I use mine on mana...
Have tried them on slabs and without as well, but preferred Mana...

Fraimchips? Or maybe Naimchips? They are thick, round plates, thin at the middle, all machined of stainless steel. They comes between ANY SPIKES and the floor, preventing the spike to dig to deeply into it. My ones (like my two sets of Fraim) are only imitations but work wonder.

The Mana thing shown by rasher may be very interesting, but I guess even this kind needs further metal bases under the spikes – such as the Chips.

Well..the bottom spikes are very long and I don't think Mana intended them to be stuck on metal discs. The Mana people are not afraid to make you work for it, and if they thought discs were worthwhile, I am sure they would say so.
Anyone tried it? I won't. It'll take hours.
