I was rather amused to see on SKY er, NEWS earlier a report regarding hospital costs for visitors/patients parking and ludicrous telephone costs, etc, etc, as well. Some may recall that I mentioned attempting to send a message via the website at Great Ormand Street Hospital in London last week to a patient (my Nephew) directly after learning of his situation. To remind folk, I was sent an automatic massage saying they'll be back on the 19th (er, tomorrow). As I still have absolutely no idea of the condition and situation of my 13 year old Nephew (living or Dead), barring the initial call, and a 4 day old letter yesterday, saying that er, 4 days ago he was stable, but very poorly, I re-itterate the position of living overseas and what it can entail.
I mentioned on here awhile back about impending visits from the Court Baillifs re an uncontrollable debt situation, well the vultures (grab firm that bought my bank debt after 12 years) now realise they will get nowt from me, had a final Lawyers letter this evening €950 higher bill than of two weeks back (sent to my advisor immediately), which when finally gone through court etc, and hopefully I still have something to sit on, the State will pay these costs (bloody ludicrous I feel personally as a Tax payer and upright Citizen).

I really really really can't understand you and it makes me very sorry. Of course there is the possibility that two persons have two different opinions (two Jewish people have 3 different opinions but you are not Jewish) but there must be some logic in arguments.
In Lebanon we left the country six years ago! How can you combine hate with their acts against us? We don't hate them, we left their country. Believe me that the Lebanese in Beirut don't care about us. The government in Beirut wants to build Lebanon and they were on the way.
You can make it easy and tell yourself that because of our acts, they hate us and therefore they fired missiles at us. But this is not the truth. Who gave them the weapons? Why? Who supported them and why? Ask yourself these questions and you can't come to the reason that hate of the Lebanese to the Israelis is the reason. Try to think global and not local.

About the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip the emotions are different but still - who finance them? They don't have money for food who gives them weapons? Why firing at us after we left? Who among the leaders of the Palestinians is worring for the Palestinians? Why did Europe stop financing the Palestinians (it is not because of us!).

I told here many times that many acts of Israel regarding the Palestinians are unacceptable! And I believe so (nothing to do with Lebanon) - but still, why the Palestinians don�t try to build a state? ( they can take an example from the Jewish people here).
The simple answer is - You occupied them, you killed of their people, you make their life tough, they hate you - all they care now is about killing you. Do you think that this is the case after we left the Gaza strip? If you think that we didn't give them all the freedom we should give them, yet, don't you see that they have to take the chance that Sharon (the one you like to hate) gave them and try to build their own country? Do you really think that the very poor Palestinians, because of hate to us, want to fire missiles and to kidnap soldiers from our territory - or do they want to work and to have a good chance to feed their kids and build their own country? Of course they want work, money, food. They don't want missiles. So what is happening here? Why money for missiles and not for food? Why firing at us instead of building their own state? Why acting in a way that forbidden them from receiving money from Europe? Do you really think that all of this happens because of their hate to us? (If they do they will never have a state of their own).

Believe me or not, hate or not � if Iran and Syria want, the Palestinians stop at once dealing with weapons and start at once building their state. But Iran and Syria don�t want this way of developing here. Unfortunately, the Palestinians elected the Hamas in order to protest against the corruption of the PLO and Arafat and the rest is written in the pages of history. I hope that this will be changed soon.
