Electrical Spurs

Without meaning to stir up a hornets nest can I ask Roy et al a couple of questions.
I am in the process of doing some upgrades on the house. As a part of this I am going to have a dedicated consumer unit fitted for the Hi-Fi.
1. My system is used for both music and movies. As such I believe I will need the following:
Lingo
Hi-Cap
250
250
140
AV2
DVD5
Benchmark DAC-1
REL Strata
2. I woild like to include a dedicated earth. I can't think how I would run a wire into my back garden without causing a lot of damage.
Can I drive a spike into the ground under my living room? 1903 Victorian semi with suspended wood floor.
3. Following this governments new electrical regs are Hydras legally OK?
Many thanks,
Martin
