What's happened to HiFiforSale.com?

I have a part outstanding order with them, but have not been able to contact them by phone or e-mail since 11th Nov. They debited my credit card for the full amount of the order. Members of another forum think they may have gone out of business. Has anyone else had a similar experience or is any the wiser?

Jonh's right but the classified site is still working at the moment. No idea how long for though.

Will the credit card company be able to retrieve the funds on your behalf?

Dear Rackkit,
The outstanding item is valued at less than £100, so I'm not sure if I can claim it back. I'm going to check with the credit card co. on Monday. The reason I posted the thread was to check if there was a known problem of insolvency, and if there was, to warn of the danger of losing money. I've subsequently found the purchasing area of the site has shutdown and they are not taking phone calls so I don't suppose there's a danger of anyone losing money in the future.
