"Jack get up and get some fresh air, for Jesus Christ, get on your feet,
Without you, Jack, the town can't eat.
Grocer Jack, Grocer Jack, get off your bed,
come into town, don't let me down, oh no, no.
Grocer Jack, Grocer Jack, get off your bed,
go into town, don't let them down, oh no, no."

Well that's not going to happen if he is out gigging all night is it?

Ins't he that lightweight Mike Skinner/Streets rip-off?

If so utter rubbish, not even funny.

Sorry wrong Forum, apparently he was on Jools holland one night and some folk thought he was good. Didn't do it for me like.

I'll keep taking the tablets.

i like him... and as for the streets dig, he's had music available longer than the streets IIRC. no need to shoot the guy down in flames for suggesting something. FWIW Jamie T is also touring and if you can see Jack Penate then it would be worth a quick look, however, i suspect they may not go down well with the majority of people on here so i shall retract my head back down below the parapets again.

Diccus, thanks for the info.

Actually I got my thread completely 'Tips Up'. I was actually thinking about Seasick Steve an old hobo blues singer. He is playing the Borderline on the 24th March, 07 and around Europe.

listen here

Not quite Just Jack Eek
