Singstar PS3 and my Speakers - I am very worried!

I have bowed to family pressure and am now suffering torment as ABBA are tortured beyond recognition. I am really concerned that my wonderful Sonus Faber Electa Amator speakers are going to be damaged by uncompressed youthful exuberance. Any informed comments welcome. Many thanks

I experience.......d something similar!!!

She loves Sing Star and I've managed to re-direct her on to other things. I found buying her a Nintendo DS and giving her a HUGE cup of tea kept her upstairs, while I had the whole downstairs to myself including the consoles and especially my Naim.

What was the outcome of Skinner's research? 'Never extinguish but re-direct...'

Any sort of Abba, compressed or uncompressed, will damage your speakers irreversibly.

Seriously Davidr, I really doubt your Sonus could be damaged in any way if everything is wired properly and so on. Not even gothic metal would do that! I can tell it.
