Balanced cables

Since the HDX is the only NAIM device I own, it is connected with cinch cables to my amplifier.
Is there a way to connect the naim with balanced cables, i.e. does a cable exist to go from DIN to XLR and would it sound better?

If it dose'nt exist you can have it made but it might not be worth the bother as you will not be making use of balanced connection.

True balanced sends the signal plus the signal out of phase and earth or return.
Single ended is just signal and earth or return.

Balanced was devised to send signals over long runs of cable at about twice the voltage of phono connections mainly in studios and live stage work Mic cables mixing desks ect.

Some HiFi fitted with XLR is not in fact true balanced, true balanced splits the signal into signal and signal out of phase at the source, this doubles the send voltage and the receiving item has to mix the two phases back together again to make full use of the connection,it was devised to be immune to noise pickup.
