Here's to Radiohead for dissing Miley Cyrus and Kanye West!

All I can say is, well done!

I think it's a scream that Radiohead did not make time for Miley Cyrus at the Grammys and that Thom Yorke told her not to have such a "sense of entitlement"

But Miley vows to "ruin" Radiohead because of this.

As if!

In what way is that relevant?

Relevant as openly gay men don't usually marry women.

Who is Miley Cyrus?

And why was is she being discussed on Naim forum when she's named after a rival amplifier.

Listened to a clip on YouTube - out of curiosity - and won't bother again - absolutely awful, I'd sooner listen to Radiohead or Lily Allen: not something I ever thought I'd say.

Miley Cyrus is the Valley Girl bimbette that your daughter thinks is, like, cool and stuff.

She knows who she appeals to and she'll act accordingly. I think you'll find that she's no bimbo, any more than her dad is a one hit wonder.
He's sold more records than you could imagine (his début album in 1992 sold 9 million copies) and she made $25m last year alone, and she hasn't started yet.
That first album success is nothing compared to what he's made since, especially with the Disney contract with HM.

Bimbette?

No, I don't think so. She could buy Radiohead and hang them on a keyring from her rear view mirror, and she's still only 16 remember. It's quite mind boggling.

Don't get me wrong, I love Radiohead - I was playing them only yesterday, but TY needs to lighten up off duty. My point about Porcupine Tree was only that Steven Wilson is a massive Radiohead fan, but he himself still treats everything as a joke - even his own band, which is a contrast that struck me as funny.
I can't stand snobbishness or primadonnas.

Please show me where he claims to be gay.

It is stupid of you to assume that I haven't been following the thread.

Nobby.

It's a character invented by ex-hawkwind grandee and writer Michael Moorcock.

And he's an evil bastard in the books, so get to love the Tree. Big Grin

Nobby, I think you need to introduce Trev to Terry.

I can't stand manufactured celebrity and vacuousness.

I also can't stand people who measure success with money.

How much is 9 million???

Cause I can't imagine how much that is.

Is that more or less than the number of brain cells in each of Miley Cyrus' 9 million fans?

You're talking about pre-teenage kids. Would you say the same about us when we were playing with Action Man or watching Stingray?
I think you're being a bit hard.

Me neither.
I guess between the two of us it doesn't leave very much. Smile
