Hi,
I have a CDX2 with a 13 year old Pioneer A400 and EPOS ES11s. Obviously, this is not my long-term plan but I have few complaints so far. Next step is dedicated mains spurs and then an XPS. Won't be replacing the amp until it dies or I inherit a fortune. Neither seem imminent.
All a matter of personal preference really. I have to say that when I get the dosh my first inclination is not to go with Naim. I never feel I'm getting the kind of added (sound improvement) value on their amps that I can get with similar priced amps IMHO.
I have friends with extremely weird combinations of Naim CDPs and non-Naim amps. Some I love, some I don't. Best advice is go audition and see what you think.
