Whats the next logical step? A Super Cap for my 82 ( I have one Hi Cap on it now) or a XPS for my CDX? Both are around the same price s/h. They go to a 250, MA Studio 50's. Thanks for any opinions. Ted.

I'd vote for the XPS. It really transforms the CDX, good as it is on its own, and with an 82/Hicap you'll really hear it.
A Supercap would make more sense if you listen to vinyl a lot.

Nb agrees with Bob,
The next logical upgrade is the XPS. It really opens up the CDX and takes a good CD player and turns it into something special.
