new cd player needed part2

Thanks a lot guys for your answers!

I still believe I can't live with a naked cd5, I would just hear that little devil in my ear whispering:"flatcap, hicap, flatcap,hicap" ;-)!
Yes both the densen and rega jupiter are interesting and available here. The problem with 2nd hand naim gear here in Sweden is that there aren't too much of it, the brand has always been small here and even away from the market for many years, but if I find a 2nd hand cdx I will buy it( maybe some swede is reading this and has one for sale?)
I also wonder if someone has heard arcamfmj23t or a nad s500 in a naim system, nad is extremely good value for money here, a lot cheaper than in uk!
By the way my delta 270(heavily modified) fought off the cd3.5!

I have a funny feeling that if you go for either of the CD's you mention that little devil in your ear will be crying out " I wish I had bought a Naim, I wish I had bought a Naim!!"

Hold out for that CD5 or that second hand CDX. You know it makes sence!!

p.s. it happened to me when I purchased a Roksan Caspian. An excellent machine but it wasn't a Naim. Need I say more!!

I guess I'm pretty stupid to ask here for advice on other cd players than naim smile). Ok ,so who has a cd3.5+hicap or a cdx 4 sale?!

Its all a matter of personal taste. There is no harm in listening to other makes. At the end of the day its your choice and you have to listen to the CD player you finally decide upon.

Just make sure when you spend your hard earned cash its for a CD player you really want and can live with.

If you make a mistake then the up-graditis bug will strike!!

I bought lot's of kit from UK and Germany, it's no problem. You need not to find the CDX in your country!

Exposure 2010 is a good cd player for 600£.But if you like Naim sound then buy CD 5 ,it´s the real thing!Today I´m going to hear Júpiter in my system,then I will tell you something.BTW,I´m Nuño and they refers to my indecision buy a cdp

I couldn´t heard the Júpiter:I´ve just heard Exposure 2010 ,my Nait 5 and a Casttle speakers.The exposure has a forward sound as CD 5 ,but lacks refinement opf CD 5.But it has lots of detail ,for half the price CD 5 or Jupiter I think I will buy Exposure.Casttle speakers did a excelent work with my Nait,too.It is a system I really like.Exposure/naim synergies are really good,I heard a Jazz cd´s and the sound was great.I know many of you advice me to go for CD 5,but Exposure for half the price it´s a bargain! wink

You made a great choice, I have Exposure / Naim combo for a long time (CD3 & Exposure Super 20 amp). For performance/price Exposure products are hard to be neglected.
