Raising Sand in HD

I recently downloaded the 24/96 version of Raising Sand, as I wanted to see what the format was like on more mainstream music - one hopes that the available catalogue will expand soon.
Now, I have to say I was not a great fan of this CD when it came out - Alison Krauss' voice is in the same league as Emmylou Harris and I find them both a bit wearing - and the production gave a rather turgid feel the the music.
But the new format really wakes it up. I don't know if it has been remixed, or if it's just the 'better' format, but I'd recommend it. Much easier to follow the two vocals, more emotion in Plant's voice - he seems to be smiling a lot - makes me smile too.
Very encouraging for me, as a download virgin
Cheers

What site did you get it from?

Aitch Dee Tracks. I'm surprised I was allowed to download it as it was restricted to US only, but if you pay with PayPal (spit spit) with credit card, it seems to work. I've probably broken some arcane licensing law, but at least I paid for it.
Be careful, the 16bit version is on there too, so double-check before you hit the Buy button
