Sat on my arse all day watching cricket, then golf, then more cricket, now football and later a bit more football. Bit of a sports fan, actually. Oh, I did get up to bring in the bacon butties my wife made earlier. They were deeeelicious!
And read the Naim Forum at the same time. Who said men can't multi-task??!!
Sounds good - did almost the same without the golf and listened to this ...

Just had a b****cking from my neighbours about volume
And its only 8.45pm.
I was thinking about buying a detached house, but some of my deposit is sat on my Quadraspire.

You shouldn't be playing Agadoo with the volume up to 11 through the Cerwin Vegas. Put some nice soothing Roger Whittaker on instead.

New place ideal as in a converted sweet factory I'm betwen 2 DJ's and we're all loud. But 13 inch thick brick walls (lucky for some) and with me in middle means I'm out in the day when they are loud and they are out in the eve when I'm loud.
On the odd occasions we cross and disturb each other we either put up and shut up or if us has to sleep we happily turn it down. (my worst offence was a party where we were all doing sing-along-a-sound-of-music at 4am and next door had a gig at 8am)
And to cap it all, we also all cook so you never know what soup, cake etc will turn up - bloody briliant

Cerwin Vegas? Give me some credit.
Anyway, whats wrong with Agadoo?
The only thing i would put Roger Whittaker on is fire.
Anyways, i didnt just spend nearly 9k on a system to play it at 7 on the volume, even though my neighbour generally does night shift and comes crashing through her front door at some un godly hour in the night.
I know its not the point but....

Packing all my stuff up in boxes cos I'm moving house on Monday. It's very boring but I'll end up with a dedicated hifi room, so can't wait.

Right now I am listening to my neighbours Hi-Fi and yet I am not in my neighbours house and nor has he installed his system in my house. How can this be?
Has anyone had trouble with noisy neighbours?

Chasing delivery of a VPI HW - 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine ordered bought by paypal from Les Enstone
Laser-Vinyl Ltd.
10 d ago, expected I would spend a good amount of my weekend cleaning and relistening to vinyl collection.
His response to email was along the lines that DHL should have got it to me 3 days ago.
Any body else have experience of this supplier/
where do other folks site their machine?

I have a VPI 16.5 which is not sited anywhere permanently. When I use it, which is every few weeks, I either put it on the kitchen bench or on my study desk. The rest of the time it's banished to the store room.

I'm arguing with an online records' shop.
The say that my card institute doesn't get my details.
I did call my card institute and they say that money has already been reserved for the payment and everything is ok.
This kind of things make me so angry!!!!!
