As Gary says you just plug it into one computer and use that computer as a print server.
You will need to fully install the printer software on the main compuer then go to the printer settings via control panel in windows and enable the option to share the printer.
Then on each of the other computers you have to go to "add a new printer" and click on the option to install "a network printer, or printer attached to another computer". If you're lucky the printer should appear and you click to install it. Sometimes it won't appear and you will need to search for it, but once you've located it, it's easy to install. Then all you need to do is make sure the computer with the printer attached and your router are both turned on and that's it. When you press print on any remote computer it will print on the other one.

Thank you both. I'll see how much devastation I can cause with this.

Alternatively use a print server.I use a 3com wireless print server to share between 3 pcs. It's a 3CRWPS10075, although they have probably changed the model several times since I installed this. You will have to install the printer software on each PC but the instructions provided are spot on. One advantage is that it eliminates the dependancy of printing on any particular PC. Cost I think was around £50.

There are a number of print server devices on the market. Some are wireless so you can put the printer just about anywhere you like, others plug in to a network hub or switch. In either case they can be accessed by any computer on your network, wired or wireless. This Netgear one can handle 2 USB printers and acts as a wireless bridge for just over £50.
You can also buy printers with networking built in - more common on Laser printers though.
