Hi all i am a new member who owns a naimnet system although i am thrilled with the quality of music around my house i am frustrated at not being able to play tracks random and add tracks to a play qeue using my laptop interface or my i pod touch app controls, anyone finding this a problem too.

Hi there!
There is a shuffle play facility in the user interface (both web and iPhone) however the NetStreams software currently doesn't take note of the shuffle flag - It did previously and this is a bug which has been resolved in the next version of the firmware due to be released by NetStreams.
We have a set of patch files which your installer can use to update his existing configuration software to "fix" this bug in advance of the official release should you wish him to do so - please get your installer to contact me for details in that case.
Tracks can be added to a playlist using either the web interface to the server itself or the Desktop Client application.
