Amsterdam - Musical Box - Accommodation

A bit of a wild card but wondered if anyone could recommend a good place to stay? I'm going over with 4 others to see Musical Box in October and looking to book up somewhere close to the Rai Theater, if possible. Not been there before so don't know my way around. Any suggestions gratefully received!

From memory, you're out in the boonies. You might be better off staying down town and using public transport to get to and from the venue.

Bridge Hotel is quite nice, top floor has two apartments which might work well for 4. Hotel is right by the Skinny Bridge and everything of interest is in easy walking distance.

I have stayed at The Bridge hotel, I found it very pleasant and quite central for a stay in Amsterdam.

"Eden" hotel (Best Western chain) is in the centre, very good and not pricey.
Public transports are fine and you can't lose your destination.
At leaset till you don't step into one of those smoky smoky bars........................
