I thought it might be useful to start a thread dedicated to spreading the word about new releases of note. I'll kick off with my current 'hardly off the CD spinner' of late:-
Released last month, 'These Broken Hands' by Portland is melodic, gentle pop/rock with lovely harmony vocals. It's available for sampling or download from iTunes.
The CD sounds nicely recorded by modern standards too. I think it's a cracker from start to finish.
