Oh dear oh dear - re my note after the Durban game

Beware .... a protea maybe a flower, but these oke's are not to be confused with their namesakes.
Judging by the tirade of e-mails & sms I got yesterday from my old Windhoek drinking buddies, we have a lion with a thorn in its foot, and it ain't arf angry.

My phone is overloaded just now with sms's from SA, seems they think England is teflon coated, and that the most polite message that can be printed

Yo Onions, what a guy to have batting @ 11

I am finding that more and more I am enjoying watching England's number 6-11 batsmen play, more so than the top order.

I know they are usually either blocking out to get a draw, or allowed by the circumstances to score freely, and the top order are usually playing under more individual pressure, but last summer and this winter those players have given such great entertainment.

Still 1-0, and still a good chance of winning the tour, and performing so well.

Ha! Never in doubt!

Graeme Smith is probably ringing Ricky Ponting; 'Jeez, I know how you feel mate....'

Ha haaaaaa haaaaa!!!!

I tell you I almost suffered about 5 strokes after Colly went down

More 'exciting' watching us trying not to lose than watching us win

I was kinda bored at work yesterday pm so I left the BBC online score update on the computer screen. Thrilling stuff indeed but the postings on the blog had me in stitches. There are some truly very witty guys on there.
