Yup, some boffins with way to much time and a grant have concluded that sharp pointy knives are dangerous.

Of course stubby blunt ones are even more dangerous, but I'm sure everybody in this place knows that already, innit ?

Hey, it's true chaps.
I cut myself rather nastily once upon a time and nearly took the top off the index finger of my left hand! I was trying to cut a tomato no less!
Luckily we had a builder at the house that day, I was living at home at the time, and we also had a Boots First Aid kit which contained a special bandage for finger wounds!
There was blood everywhere I tell you, but after a few weeks the cut healed up and my finger remains, to this day at least, in one piece, though the scar remains to remind me of my grizzly tale
So the moral of the story is....
Oh bollocks, I think I'll just get me coat instead

Deane,
is there anything in your past we should be aware of ?
BTW, I didn't mean those nasty things I said about you.

Classic line from "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" when the cook pulls out a machete and a few other knives "Guns for show, knives for a pro" - and from memory the others ask him the same question - "is there something we don't know about you?"

I heard they've dicovered some new eel type creature living in a volcanic ocean vent. Does that qualify?
