Rega to Stop P9 Production!?

I am told that Rega has stopped production on the P9. Has anybody else heard this? Is this old news? I'm also told that they are coming out with a replacement. Who knows anything about this?

I would guess that the P9 is almost a labour of love for Rega.
My dealer reckons that in the heyday of the LP12 they sold more of those per year than Rega have ever made of P9s.
Still, if you're a fan of the P9 and they're going to bring out something even better then some bargain P9s will probably come out on the s/h market.
