The PO Pension Fund has never received a penny from the taxpayer. I paid 10.67% of my salary into the fund every month which is probably double what the average contribution is, hence the facility for claiming at 60. I was paid from 55 because my package involved the PO bunging in a nice dollop to fund it.

You appear to have no intention of working and your income is provided by those who work, therefore you are a parasite.

I live off investments and still pay top rate tax to pay for such as you. No one can describe that as fair.

The PO is a net contributor to the exchequer and has not had a penny in subsidy for nearly 30 years. Please remember it sells billions of stamps each year, gets paid for providing counter and lots of other services. It turns around £8bn pa.(I have not checked that figure to be fair.)

Therefore your allegations of subsidies are without foundation.

For people like you, I feel that the old Victorian concept of the workhouse will prevent you from stealing etc as well as motivating you to work.
