Activity Report from a Galaxy Far far away.....

The deal is this..

What is your favourite activity to engage in whilst listening to your Badass Naim System?

I'm talking about the active bits not when slumped and semi-comatose on the couch just soaking it up

wink

ps..promise not to say anything derogatory about Horse Bum cool

1: Having sex. As it doesn't happen every day, on to number 2.

2: Cooking. Actually the other way around. When cooking I like to listen to music, and not from the kitchen radio.

3: While lying in the bath.

4: Working on the model railroad.

5: Reading. But not fiction, that doesn't work.

Re-setting my Mana racks is a biggie 'round here.

But seriously, the problem with dedicated listening rooms is that there's not much to do other than flip though liner notes and marvel at how lame 3/4 of them are.
I'd love to have a system in the living room, then I could actually do things while listening to music- cook, clean and read pornography, for example.

I prefer to eat the tasty dinner I prepared before I pressed "play".

Edo,
what period art do you have on your walls?
I am not too sure if visual stimulation adds or detracts from the listening pleasure. I just close my eyes and then have all the art I have ever seen to choose from.

OK, being a non-native speaker
of your language, it took a bit too long
before I picked up the Talking Horse reference.

Cheers,

Edo (amused now)

I personally prefer maps and prints from any period before 1900. Not that that adds anything to this discussion...

My suggestion was triggered by Mike's apparent boredom, really.

Edo (hears a clock ticking... is that a move to the Padded Cell approaching?)

Does drinking beer count? That and reading the jackets.

BTW, how did you know my system was bad-ass?

Luckily/unluckily I have the computer in the same living space, so I can sit here geeking whilst listening.

If I have a full on media session going, the TV will be on but no sound as well.

Ron..

Aye. Beer drinking always counts as does wine quaffing and constructing absolutely Kickass pizzas

Listening with a glass of red or a single malt; listening with friends, or on occasions, spread out on the floor with an English Newspaper to digest for a couple of hours and a bottle of sparkling mineral water.

What do I more often end up doing with the system on? Painting some room or another in the house, playing on the PC (as now). Possibly jumping up and down in front of it with friends.

Anything but tweaking it. (The system, that is). red face
